The bronzes by Cecil Humphreys reflects an appreciation for the utilitarian form of vessels from various ages and cultures, our primitive human response to that form, and the inherent sculptural beauty and possibilities of that form. All pieces are designed and crafted by Mr. Humphreys, and all aspects of the process are done by hand in the labor-intensive lost wax method of bronze casting.
