Marian Jamieson understands that her products must succeed as great design and as functional objects. "We make pieces that people want to look at, touch and then enjoy using," she says. Dramatic dark glazes over the sand-cast and polished classic shapes feature unusual saturated color surfaces that absorb light, creating a sense of weight and density despite their slender silhouettes.
